Prayer for My Daughter
Oh heavenly Father,
I lift up my daughter to you.
I love her so much,
Please take care of her Lord.
Cover
her with your blessings and protection.
Let me let go of my desire
to conform her To my will.
Show me how to protect her,
And guide her
into wisdom.
Let her know she is loved, as she is.
Let me love her also, as she is.
Let her know she is indeed a princess,
In a Kingdom
far greater than any fairy tale.
A Kingdom with a Great King,
Who reigns with justice and mercy.
Make her strong in your Word.
Let her
be tender and gentle, and let
Your love flow through her life and her heart.
In Jesus’ holy Name,
Amen.

The Little Girl is for who
you will always be to me.
The Butterfly is for your soul
that makes you so beautiful
and free.
The Dolphin is for when you make me laugh
with the funny things you say.
The Teardrop is for all those you have shed
and I
have wiped away.
The Sun is for your beautiful smile
that could light the darkest night.
The Silver Star is for the pride I feel
when
I know you’ve done what’s right.
The Friends is for the many
that will come and go.
The Boy is for the one whom
your feelings will start
to grow.
The Rose is to ensure that far or near
we are always together.
The Locket is to keep you strong, brave
and our hearts locked forever.
A Daughter
A daughter is a wonderful blessing,
A treasure from above.
She’s laughter, warmth and special charm,
She’s thoughtfulness
and love.
A daughter brings a special joy,
That comes from deep inside.
And as she grows to adulthood,
She fills your heart with
pride.
With every year that passes,
She’s more special than before.
Through every stage, though every age,
You love her even more.

words can describe the warm memories,
The pride and gratitude, too.
That comes from having a daughter,
To love and to cherish… just like
