Prayer for Pope Francis
O God, shepherd and ruler of all the faithful,
look favorably on your servant Francis,
whom
you have set at the head
of your Church as her shepherd;
Grant, we pray, that by word and example
he may be of service to those over
whom he presides
so that, together with the flock entrusted to his care,
he may come to everlasting life.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ,
your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the
unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.
Amen.
Regina Coeli
(Queen of Heaven)
Queen of Heaven, rejoice. Alleluia.
For He, whom you did merit to bear. Alleluia.
Has risen as He
said. Alleluia.
Pray for us to God. Alleluia.
Rejoice and be glad, O Virgin Mary. Alleluia.
R. Because the Lord is truly risen. Alleluia.
Let
us pray
O God, Who by the Resurrection of Thy Son,
Our Lord Jesus Christ,
Hast been pleased to give joy to the whole world,
Grant we
beseech Thee,
That through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary,
His Mother, we may attain the joys of eternal life.
Through
the same Christ, our Lord.
Amen.
Prayer to St. Michael
Saint Michael, the Archangel,
Defend us in battle;
Be our defense against the wickedness
and snares of the
devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray;
& do thou, O prince of the heavenly host,
By the power of God,
Thrust into hell Satan &
the other evil spirits
Who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.
Amen.

The Seven Gifts of the Holy Spirit
Wisdom:
The first and highest gift of the Holy Spirit. Wisdom lets us see Gold’s work
in the events of our own lives and the world and lets us judge things in the way that God does.
Understanding:
This gift helps
us to comprehend the word of God and the doctrines of faith, and how we need to live life as followers of Christ.
Counsel / Right
Judgement:
This gift helps us to know what is right and wrong, and what to do when faced with difficult situations.
Fortitude
/ Courage:
This gift gives us the strength to do what is right in the face of challenges such as rejection, danger, abuse, temptation
or harm.
Knowledge:
This gift helps us to see the world from Gold’s perspective and choose the right path through life.
Piety
/ Reverence:
This gift gives us a deep love of God for all the wonderful and powerful things He has done for us and a deep sense of
respect for God and Church
Wonder and Awe of God:
This gift gives us the power to remember the glory and majesty of God and compels
us to avoid sin and maintain our humility.
My soul magnifies the Lord,
and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior;
Because He has regarded
the lowliness of His handmaid;
for behold, henceforth all generations shall call me blessed;
Because He who is mighty has done great
things for me,
and Holy is His Name;
And His mercy is from generation to generation
on those who fear Him.
He has shown might with
His arm,
He has scattered the proud in the conceit of their heart.
He has put down the mighty from their thrones,
and has exalted
the lowly.
He has filled the hungry with good things,
and the rich he has sent away empty.
He has given help to Israel,
His servant,
mindful of His mercy –
Even as He spoke to our father –
to Abraham and to his posterity forever.
