Saint Jason Prayer
Saint Jason of Tarsus,
Missionary, Priest, and Bishop
Appointed by Saint Paul,
We humbly pray today for the
Bishops
of Christ’s Church.
You are a model bishop.
You were the bishop of Tarsus
But the zeal in your heart for the
Gospel was not just limited
to Tarsus.
You valiantly preached the
Faith on the island of Corfu,
Baptizing many pagans and
Eventually the king of Corfu himself.
Pray
for your successors.
Pray that the bishops,
The apostolic successors,
Have courage, zeal, faith, hope,
And most importantly, love.
Amen.
Prayer in Honor of St. Jason
O heavenly Jason,
in whose name I glory,
pray ever to God for me:
strengthen me in my faith;
establish me in virtue;
guard me in the conflict;
that I may vanquish the foe malign
and attain to glory everlasting.
