Blessed David, you are an apostle
and patron for the people of Wales.
Grant, I implore, that through your prayers,
your people will be enlightened
by the truth which you taught,
and they will obtain everlasting life.
Heavenly Father, you know all things,
and nothing is hidden from you;
in your kindness come to my aid

in my present distress,
and grant me my humble petition.
